More diversity and flexibility in design and services. So we are working on designing and enabling it right now. Is Salsa on your mind?
This Thursday come out and join the Salsa Rueda Team at Infuzionslounge. I believe the Ice Bar should be now open for your enjoyment. The event to include. Cover is $5 after 9:30 Free if you make it before or eat at the restaurant (Tapas! emm yum). We'll be there with dancing feet. We invite all our Salsa Classes to join in on the fun and come out and practice.

Salsa or Tango- Newport News Kicks off...
Yes this Tuesday Beechmont Rec. Center starts their first Beginner Salsa Rueda Session. If you've heard about the Salsa Rueda Team in Richmond at the Dance Space on Broad Street then you know this will be great!

So How did it Go.....
Well Lets see.....
We Arrived at VCU Commons.

All ready, we were going on in about 10 Min 8:30.....we wound up going on more like 8:25. With Aniko as our excited caller!(Second woman from right)
Places everyone! We performed A Salsa Rueda to "Tanto La Queria by Andy & Lucas!
Setenta! (70) To Dame Una!
All-in-all the dance was fun and out side of our flub-up at the end ("did you do Enchufe, no I didn't do it....well who did? HaHaHa) the time flew and I'm glad you guys made it and participated.
Well now we wanted to go out and do somethings else and that's when Jenika "to the rescue" came up with going to "Infusions".
A new night club that none of us yet knew about or heard of. Good going Jenika.
Afterwards we grabbed some great Pizza from Piccola's Italian Rest. thanks to Caroline's recommendation. I was so hungry by now. And almost everyone else was too....even if they didn't say it! :)
Well Now it was off to Infusions...(A night club lounge featuring an ICE BAR) little did we know that the Richmond Meetup Group was scheduled to be there this Thur and as it turned out will be just about every Thur. (Clara is the Organizer and a fine dancer She and Dave head the group) They put up a good party. We had a really great time at the last minute and all. http://salsa.meetup.com/190
(This Saturday kicks off the opening of this indoor Sub freezing room made of only ICE where they will serve drinks from. This Saturday they will open it to serve 15 at a time and take your picture in it as well. ) Sounds nutty and cold but you really have to see this for yourself...we got a peak and it is something to write home about. Never saw a room with furniture and walls made of ICE before. Cool! No pun intended!
Well, I know I blabbed to the group that we will check it out Sat but I found out that it won't have Salsa or latin music this Sat, So we may be waiting and going next Thur. If it doesn't melt by then. :)

Update on VCU-Intercultural Festival

VCU ICF has two socials (Spring Bash and Fall Bash) during the school year to promote the festival. These social include games, cultural performances, and food to give students an idea of what to expect festival day. The last bash had over 300 students and we are expecting over 500 students for this one. The direction to the event are as follows:
From 6004 W. Broad Street
1. Make a right on to W. Broad Street (towards VCU campus)
2. Make a right onto Laurel St.
3. Make a right onto S. Cathedral Pl
4. S. Cathedral turns into Floyd Ave.
5. The building will be on your left.
Unfortunately, we were unable to place aside parking for performers, so the only thing that will be available is on-street parking. If you are unable to find parking, give me a call and I can see what I can do. We will need you to be at least 30 minutes before your performance, so we can get the music preparedand we ahve a little practice space, if needed.
